Shuping Ge, MD, is a board-certified pediatric cardiologist who provides care for children and adolescents. He specializes in treating congenital heart disease including atrial septal defect, Ebstein’s anomaly, tetralogy of fallot, patent foramen ovale, tricuspid atresia, hypoplastic left heart syndrome, truncus arteriosus and coarctication of the aorta. He performs heart imaging including echocardiograms, fetal echocardiography, trans-esophageal echo, PET and CT scans and MRI. Dr. Ge has a clinical interest in preventive cardiology and maternal fetal medicine. Board-certified in pediatric cardiology, Dr. Ge earned his medical degree from Shandong University School of Medicine in Shandong, China. He completed a residency in general pediatrics at St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York and a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the University of Colorado Children’s Hospital. He has published numerous papers and chapters and participated in many research projects. Dr. Ge is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Pediatric Society, American Heart Association, American Society of Echocardiography, Society for Pediatric Research, Chinese American Heart Association and Chinese American Academy of Cardiology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and American College of Cardiology.
